RSS & RSSDX Retrofit Overflows

The RSS Overflow is a simple way to add a surface skimmer to any tank. It is also a great way to keep the water level at a constant in your saltwater aquarium as well as increase the rate at which surface water, and the film and dust with it, is removed from the aquarium.

Users can choose between the regular unit or the DX model depending on the installation method they desire. Regular units have an open back so that the walls of the RSS overflow can be silicon-mounted right up to the back wall of the aquarium. Alternatively, to install without silicon, users can drill an additional bulkhead hole into the back wall of the DX model to match the size of the overflow bulkhead. The bulkhead can then be used with additional washers for a more simple, and easily removable installation.
